Credit Default Swap (CDS) Confirmation

 

A credit default swap is a credit derivatives where a party (buyer) obtains protection from another (seller) normally documented under ISDA documentation which includes the ISDA master agreement and confirmed by a CDS confirmation, incorporating the 2003 ISDA credit derivatives definitions (“credit derivatives definitions”).
