• Japanese FSA Sanctions Property Derivatives (25 March 2010)

• The Japanese "global warming countermeasure promotion taskforce" (地球温暖化対策推進本部) announced the framework of a trial emission trading unified market on the 21 October 2008.
• Additional ISDA master provisions for a counterparty which is a Japanese religious body organised under the Japanese Religious Person Law (宗教法人法)
• JVETS (自主参加型排出量取引制度) starts to accept application for emission trading participation (in Japanese only) from 27 December 2007 (ending on 28 January 2008). A conference will also be held on 18 January 2008 to give details of the scheme and participation.
